Femme Fatale – Get Suited

Its back, just when you thought you’d never buy another suit, the power suit is de rigueur. It’s returned sharp and on point with a modern update.

Tracey Spicer wore a double-breasted white number with brass buttons for International Women’s Day and boy did she rock.

Autumn 18

It’s the season for maximum minimalism and urban edge so keep your look razor sharp in interesting textures like tweed, Prince of Wales check, plaids and herringbone.  Your shoe will set it off and make or break your outfit.  Pair with boots (white if you dare), brogues, runners or an edgy heel.

As an investment shopper now is the time to make the smartest move in town as there are so many options out there. The silk evening tuxedo, the checked number, the coloured suit and the striped version.

Stylist’s Tip

Get creative and express your style by mixing masculine and feminine elements till it works for you.  Experiment with your feminine side; imagine ruffles, softer fabrics and billowing sleeves.

Ideally a suit should elevate your confidence and ultimately make you feel like the best version of you.
