I hope you are taking advantage of the winter sales as retailers entice you. Stores realise there is no sense in holding onto winter stock as they pave the the way for summer stock that starts arriving from mid July.

Shopping on a Budget 
When shopping on a budget remember these key tips:
Buy a few quality pieces rather than wasting money on instant fashion.
Invest in versatile pieces and resist impulses to emotion-driven buying. Buy a piece you can wear with 15 other items in your wardrobe, don't just buy something because you haven't bought anything for a while.
Instantly update your wardrobe with some new accessories eg. beautiful warm scarf, textured knit, leather gloves or chunky necklace.
Women - Dress to Your Body Shape - Oval or Diamond
 The Oval woman is full figured with a round shape and a low stomach. Create a great silhouette with a subtle inverted triangle shape, square-off shoulder pads, 'V' necklines, vertical design lines, medium-sized, non shiny prints, abstract and geometric patterns in medium to dark solid colours. Wear medium to medium-high heels, below knee-length skirts and hosiery that blend with your shoes and hemline.
The Diamond is similar to the Oval except the stomach is high and creates a diamond appearance. By using the same dressing techniques as the Oval, your body will be balanced and camouflage your mid torso.
To dress for an Oval or Diamond shape:
80's Look - Jacket with shoulder pads, matching skirt and V neck blouse.
Exotic Look - Animal print dress in a subtle pattern.
Parisienne Chic - Dark subtle abstract pattern suit worn with long pearls.
Men - Dress to Your Body Shape - Oval
To dress for an Oval shape:
Corporate - Wear a single breasted pin striped suit , that fits well with two or three buttons, with straight leg pants. Wear with a darker coloured shirt and a tie with an abstract pattern.
Casual Wear - Wear a striped shirt that fits well with dark chinos or bootleg jeans. Wear a darker coloured vest or jacket open, to allow colour to flow through the body.

A Great Bra - One of the most important items in your wardrobe, a good bra that fits properly. If you don't know your size, get fitted in a department store.
A Great Pair of Jeans - You don't need to spend a fortune, choose the style that is most flattering to you. Boot leg and dark blue is always a good look.
Classic Trench - For when the skies are grey and you need a little warmth, for instant style appeal. Choose a colour that looks great and blends with your wardrobe.
A Fab Dress - Every woman needs a great little dress that always looks good and suits her shape. Make sure it highlights your best features, eg. legs, boobs, waist.
A Glitzy Shrug or Shawl - If you don't have great arms when wearing that fab dress, sling a shrug or shawl over your shoulders and you'll feel fantastic. Also doubles as scarf.
