Welcome to our newsletter!

I’ve returned from a quick break by the beach for our anniversary with some fresh new ideas for summer 2010 and some great jewellery pieces for you.

It was great to be featured this month in the Bridal Magazine of the Manly Daily highlighting stylish tips for the Mother of the Bride to look modern and chic.

Summer 2010 - Laid Back

Chill out in cool and classic styles with a mix of different looks to define your style.

Asymmetrical - Edgy classic and very chic. Try off the shoulder dresses, simple hairdos, trendy shoes and a statement bag.

Free Spirit - The boho look with flirty skirts, rainbow scarves, neutral sandals and masses of beads.

Tribal - Safari in animal prints, metallic accessories, neutral scarves, gladiator sandals and layered bangles.

Brights - Offset great colour blocks (fushia, red, purple, citrus, cobalt) with chunky jewellery and gorgeous shoes. .

Work Your Wardrobe

Work with what you've got rather than buying a whole new wardrobe. First conduct an audit of what you have. Try everything on and see how it looks. If you haven't worn it in a year, it should go to a better place.

Then work out which are your assets, a lovely face, great ankles, a fantastic waist or sparkling eyes. Then look at your not so good features.

Now pick all the clothes that hide the parts you don't like and highlight the great ones.

As most people only wear 20% of their wardrobe most of the time, make sure your wardrobe is not taken up by the 80% you don't wear. Give them to a friend or charity.

Remember if you look great, you'll feel fantastic and that even means when you are at home. My golden rule is if I don't feel happy wearing it doing the housework at home, I shouldn't be wearing it at home.

"I thought I should let you know I have recently utilised my colour swatch and purchased a deep purple formal length dress to wear to a wedding. Purple was a colour that I never thought suited me however I was given many compliments on the dress and the colour. It felt good to receive such lovely comments. I cheated a little with some structured underwear and it definitely made a difference to the line and fitting of the dress.

Thanks so much for the advice."
