Great News for High Heels
Men – High StakesGuys are looking great on the field, not only do they want to compete with the girls in the fashion stakes, but it is relatively easy to look great. A good cut suit, tailored shirt, classy tie, lapel pin and a jaunty hat looks sharp. For more on hats refer to my last newsletter 'Mad Men'. Also making a comeback apart from hats is the bow tie. Stylish men can be seen now sporting a bow tie at the races. Once only considered for men in cultural pursuits or architecture, the bow tie creates a finishing touch for the discerning male or someone looking for something different. Sydney entrepreneur Nicholas Atgemis has launched the Le Noeud Papillon collection including the striped bow tie. www.lenoeudpapillon.com
Hot to Trot - Flutter TipsThe races are not all fashion but a time for a little flutter, as long as it is in control. It is meant to be fun however not too lose a fortune. Keep your spending to a limit so you leave the day feeling great. Don't be like Kerry Packer who in his early days lost more than he won. You probably don't have the power of Packer who never repaid one of his earlier debts. ![]() Defining Style's Key Tips:

"Thank you for pulling me out of my black haze and giving me the confidence to use colour again. The experience has inspired me to look away from my staple wardrobe colour choice of black. You have helped me polish my professional look and after years of working from home this was a great help. I am now confident that I can wear colours well, know which colours to look for when shopping and my personal appearance is now reflective of the business goals I am achieving. Confident, professional and pulled together. You were easy and fun to work with and gave me the push I needed to get going.
