Welcome to our newsletter!
Do you fit the bill when it comes to dressing for your career? Looking well-presented and professional is part of the challenge.
Remember it's all in the detail so to make your mark you need to be immaculate from top to toe. Did you know that the care and attention you put into your dressing tells volumes about the care and attention you put into your work, so make sure you get it right.

Do You Fit the Bill? - Look Sharp
If you want to look the part it's quite simple, dress according to your own personal colouring, body shape and personality. It's quite easy when you are shopping with your Colour Profile which provides an easy guide to choosing the right hue of colour for your complexion.
A recent shopping trip with a client resulted in a delighted customer who walked away with a superb suit that looked gorgeous with his colouring. The whole exercise took just over an hour to choose the suit with matching pants, shirt and tie. As my client had a warm and muted complexion we chose a dark navy suit that fitted like a glove and teamed it with a subtle mauve and white striped shirt with a co-ordinating tie. The result a sophisticated professional look.

Style Rules for Trackside - Royal Randwick

April 16 - Doncaster Day
April 23 - Sydney Cup Day
The two recent Racing Carnivals at Randwick have unveiled some elegant numbers and some fashion disasters. Do follow the trends but don't go overboard in your look.
Romantic Lace - One key piece with an elegant felt hat. Don't look like a 'lady loo roll holder' with a flowery hat and lace accessories. Read more on my blog how the celebrities got it wrong.
50's Ladylike Look - Keep it simple and classic with one vintage piece. Don't look like you are going to 'fancy dress.'
Classic - Go for great fit and fabric in a dress and structured jacket to team with a feminine headpiece with flowers or feathers.
70's - Wide felt floppy hat with elegant loose leg pant suit and platform shoes.
Guys - Slim line charcoal suit with stylish well fitted shirt and co-ordinating tie in subtle colours.

Men - Shape, Cut and Style
Classic Shoes for Wide Feet - Beggar Man Thief in Melbourne stock quality shoes for men who struggle to get into slim fitting Italian shoes. Shoes include handmade English leather shoes, formal shoes and casual shoes like canvas deck shoes. 03 9686 3006. 244 Clarendon St, Melbourne.
Shapewear for Guys - RipT Fusion is designed to shape men’s bodies while visibly improving their physique. Using dual fabric technology, the mid panel sucks in the belly and creates core consciousness while the chest and sweep of the shirt are a lightweight, soft cotton perfect for wearing under all types of clothes. Regular cotton t-shirts are so dead and gone. www.Slimwear.com.au
Quality Slim Fitting Shirts - Nigel Lincoln is an Australian made slim fitting shirt made from Italian cotton. The colour palette includes aqua and fuchsia through to traditional blue and white stripes and checks with contrasting cuffs. They can be purchased at David Jones or make to measure. www.nigellincoln.com.au
Shopping Frenzy - Westfield Sydney
The second stage of the Westfield City Complex is opening from late April with a wave of new brands and stores.
Remember when shopping not to get hung up on having the latest brand but investing in key classic garments that don't date and do flatter your body shape. (Read we don't live in Singapore so don't be focussed on the brand name). Update each season with fashion items that don't cost a fortune.
