What's New
A New Year, A New YOU![]() Now is the perfect time to Reinvent Yourself. Start the year with a makeover to look and feel great www.definingstyle.com.au Create space for new opportunities and potential in 2009 by de-cluttering your life, starting with your wardrobe, handbag, makeup and accessories. Invest in a new hairdo. If you have had the same hairstyle forever, its time for a change. A fringe or part fringe makes you look younger and softens your face. Try highlights or lowlights to create texture and interest in your hair. Wear lipsticks in your hue - cool shades like Berry Glaze, Black Cherry, Antique Rose and Petal Pink. Warm shades like Sienna, Honey Sun, Iced Mocha and Champagne Kisses. Email robin@definingstyle.com.au ($26.50 each). Swap black eyeliner and mascara for softer tones like brown, grey or navy to define your eye colour.
Summer Dress CodesWhile the days are hot and we're still in holiday mode, it's fine to wear summer dresses and tailored shorts. During January and February florals, beach wear and relaxed clothing are fine. As soon as the weather changes and we are in working mode (March) it's time to be more serious about your coporate attire. Wear classics on the odd hot day in linen or cotton for understated elegance.

"Robin I enjoyed the consultation today. I came away feeling more confident about what colours and styles to wear, how to combine clothes and accessories and, most importantly, the underlying reasons why certain things do and don’t work for me. Went out to dinner tonight – kept my jeans on, but found a more flattering top and cardigan with an unusual collar to wear (had forgotten I had it during out consultation – it’s a great match against lots of the criteria you gave me."
