I was delighted to be MC and judge the 'Fashions on the Field' at Whitewater Restaurant for Melbourne Cup. A wonderful mix of people and a spectacular venue to showcase a fun filled day. One lucky lady also won the door prize of a styling consultation with Defining Style. I will be helping her develop her own natural confident style to suit her personality and lifestyle.

I will divulge my styling and fashion secrets while we stroll through the lovely streets of Paddington. The delightful Myriam Thibault from Mytinerary will tempt you with a gourmet brunch.

Yacht Club - Wear stylish shorts (not cargo please) with a collared shirt (rolled up sleeves) ar a well made polo with loafers.

With the season hotting up it's time to look at a new ensemble for the warmer weather. Try: Nautical - Wear a striped tee with white or navy pants, a jaunty hat and a must have pair of espadrilles.
70's Style - To a pair of flares, add a platform shoe, printed shirt and wide brimmed hat. Or a psychedelic maxi dress with boho style accessories and wedge shoes.
Mexicana - Go for a silk tunic dress with shiny gold applique or a geometric printed dress with cotton embroidery and gold leather sandal.
Tribal - An exotic skin dress will be complemented by tan or nude sandals and a tribal gold necklace.
Garden Party - A fresh floral dress in a flowing fabric with strappy sandals and a pearl and silver necklace.
