Hair Undergo a hair change, how long has it been since you've expressed who you are through your hair. Either a new style, fringe, colour, or guys shaving it all off (if you are receding fast). If you've had the same hair style for several years, you need to change.

Glasses You should change your glasses frames every 2 years, otherwise you look dated. There are so many amazing colours and styles now available. see 'Be Spectacular' below.

Grooming Guys, there is no excuse for nasal hairs jutting out and wax in your ears. This is one area of personal grooming you have to be meticulous. 

Compliments Lastly and most importantly, when you receive a compliment always smile and say thank you. Never take away from the goodwill of the giver, and the joy that you will receive.

Art of Corporate Fashion for Executive Gentlemen

An Executive Gentleman relates to a well groomed, suited man with sophistication, polish and simplicity. 

  • Self Awareness - How much do you know about your face shape, body shape and skin undertone. Your face shape, neck length and shoulder type are key factors to determine your appropriate type of collar. Your body shape determines if you should wear a single button, two button, three button or double breasted jacket. 
  • Collars - The round collar balances an inverted triangle and rectangle face. Button down collars are more sporty. The English spread goes well with a small face. Pointy and long colllars balance long necks and round face shapes. Classic collars go well with everyone.
  • Lapels - Lapels should be in good proprotion with your shoulder width. Notched lapels create a step effect and are great for single breasted suits. Peak lapels are for double breasted styles. The shawl or roll lapel is a continuous curve and can used in a dinner jacket or as a less formal jacket. The jacket with no lapel, Nehru, suits men with a big chest, but is less formal for business.

When in Melbourne – History via Shopping

If you are in Melbourne up to October 2010 check out this free exhibition at the State Library of Victoria. 'Til You Drop' looks at how shopping in Melbourne has changed since the city was founded in 1835. It charts the growth of boutiques, arcades and shopping centres including the launch of Myer in 1911. It tells the story of Melbourne using the theme of shopping. It encompasses the 19th century birth of window shopping, when leisure time became shopping time.
