Spring Trend - In the Navy
I'm over the moon that NAVY has returned for this Spring as the 'new black'. I'm been raving for ages that Navy is so much more chic than black, as many of my clients exclaim that Navy is not IN, it's dowdy or you can't buy it in the shops.
Navy is so much more flattering to your skin colour than black, it's softer and less ageing and still creates a long, lean silhouette. Designers, Marnie Skillings, Celine, Oscar de la Renta and Tommy Hilfiger have included Navy in their designs recently. We'll also see it in chain stores Sportsgirl, Jigsaw and Kookai soon.
So embrace Navy this season, it works so well, with denim, red and white, and is great to star as a 'Parisian look' or 'Coastal Chic' .

Beauty File - Winter Treats
While the days are still short and grey with drying winds, try my tips to look beautiful all season long.
Moisturise - Heating and cold winds dry your skin so keep it hydrated with a richer blend.
Protect - Just because its winter it doesn't mean you can forget the sun block, you can burn anytime of the year.
Treat - Your hands are often neglected and show your age more than anything else, so add a luxurious cream to soothe and soften.
Colour - Let your lips be bold in berry or plum for cool based skin; or bronze or terracotta for warm based skin .
Smoulder - Try smoky eye shadows in violet, slate, navy and brown to make your eyes stand out. Wear contrasting colours to make your eyes pop, bronze for blue or green eyes, violet for brown eyes.
Men - Business Casual
Nothing causes more alarm than dressing for Business Casual. Guys so often get it wrong, they either continue to wear their corporate suit or end up in jeans and T-shirts. Business Casual means just that, keep it smart not relaxed. You are not going to a barbeque you are to look professional. Do not wear beach wear, sports gear, workout clothing and night attire.
The most appropriate garments to wear are:
Casual trousers (not denim)
Long and short sleeved button shirts (not T-shirts)
Fine knit jumpers (not sweatshirts)
Leather shoes (not sandals).
If you are in doubt you should not be wearing it. For more information on how to dress for your industry call Robin for your consultation on 0419 468 272.
